Thai & True Red Curry Wings
Posted by Thai and True on 2/4/2011 to Recipes

It's Super Bowl weekend and the grocery stores are promoting all the game day fixings from dips, chips, dogs, links, etc.  Our favorite game day food are chicken wings, well, chicken drumettes to be exact.  We like them on the grill, deep fried, baked, or any combination of cooking methods.  I love spicy wings, but don't like the strong vinegary flavors of buffalo wings.  So today, I decided to throw together some wings using some standard pantry ingredients.  These are the practice wings before the real deal on game day.  The Red Curry wings turned out fabulous - sweet, sticky and spicy with a hint of tang, they were finger lickin' good!

1.5 lbs of wings/drumettes, about 12-14 pieces

1 tsp Thai & True Red Curry paste

0.25 cup honey

0.25 cup soy sauce

spritz of lime juice

1.  Whisk together the Thai & True Red Curry paste, honey, soy sauce, and spritz of lime juice.  Set aside.

2.  Bake or fry the wings/drumettes until crispy and golden.

3.  Toss the sauce and wings together.

4.  Enjoy!
